This team didn't even have half the fight as last years team.. They're a lot more skilled but what a terrible series. Where is the huge hits, blocked shots and intimidation. Overall still a great year I know, but would rather have seen last years character out here competing rather than thinking we can "out skill" the top teams. Anyhow... Good season T-Birds! Can't wait till next year
Let's wait until tomorrow before we start castigating this team. They had a good, if inconsistent, season and won their first round series in five games. Losing to the best team in the entire CHL is disappointing, but hardly unexpected or a sign of a truly mediocre team, particularly after the garbage we've watched for the last few years.
Sometimes the team is just happy to be there.....
It is ok to lose to Kelowna but people question the effort.
This team had a lot of 19 year olds. When WHL teams have a lot of 19 year olds the try to make a serious run to the title or cup.
Should be interesting how next year turns out
nice crowd by the way .....
Seattle had a lot of 19s but only 1 20. Don't forget one of those 19's (Honey) pretty much missed the whole season with injury). Every team left in the playoffs has a lot of 19s and 20s on their roster. T-birds were also carrying 7 rookies. Heck, almost 8 since Mumaugh only spent half the season with the team a year ago and hardly played.
"Lower Body Injury" is what it looked like to me.
