I could sit here and talk about the Tbirds losing 3 more games over the weekend... but quite frankly I have bigger fish to fry this week.
It's Hockey Challenge week and I have some very exciting news. I have been asked to participate in the Celebrity Game on Saturday night. We can all pretend that I'm a Celebrity but the fact of the matter is that I was chosen for my fundraising. I could not have done this without the help of the generous Tbirds fans that read this blog. I can't thank you enough.
However... I'm not going to rest on this. Let's really put this thing over the top and prove to everyone how great Tbirds fans are and add to my totals. I would consider "my" contributions to be a representation of the Tbirds community of fans.
Watch this video and click on the link to donate a little bit of money in my name. This is why we participate in this event. I thank you in advance. Thank you for already making Hockey Challenge 2012 a success.

That's great news, Tyler! Thanks for the reminder...I just donated on behalf of you. Great that you do this every year.
Yay! Congrats! What are you up to and is there a new goal?
The team is over 26k right now and we are hopeful of getting to 30k by puck drop this weekend.
Congrats, Tyler and thank you for the support you have given to McDonald house at Childrens. I've spent time in the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle and it's truly a worthy cause. It's comforting to be able to be alongside your young childs side while they undergo critical life saving procedures. For our family it was our six month old undergoing liver failure and transplant. We spent more than a few months at McDonalds house, during the operation and recovery. What a great and welcoming place.
Josh is now fourth year of the transplant after receiving his new liver at eight months old. Josh is a true Thunderbird fan, sits perfectly still and watching the game, and while playing knee hockey in our upstairs sitting room Josh is the Thunderbird player while anyone else is the Komet (FT. Wayne), our other favorite team, player.
Thanks again, Tyler...great cause...great great cause. Good luck in the game.
