Riku Helenius, who played last year for the Tbirds appears to be headed to Tampa Bay to backup Mike Smith in the big time.
Helenius has been playing for the AHL Norfolk Admirals. With Olaf Kolzig being injured and now out for the season and Norfolk goaltender Kari Ramo being slapped with a 6 game suspension, it appears that Riku will be recalled immediately to be ready for the Lightning's game tomorrow night.
Blog entry from the "The Lightning Insider" can be found here.
Helenius has played in only one game so far for the Admirals making 11 stops on 12 shots in a relief appearance. In 11 games between the August Lynx and the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL, Riku posted a 4-5-2 record with a 3.80 GAA and a 89.6% Save Percentage.
As a side note... is it that difficult for the hockey websites of the world to start automatically calculating and listing GAA and Save % so that I don't have to waste time doing it on my own?

maybe you already know, but have you tried hockeydb.com? you just do a player search by name and it shows all their stats for every team they have ever played for. hope that helps.
I stand corrected looking dumb... I love Hockeydb, go there all the time... last time I checked on a goalie I don't believe they had it listed either but... I stand corrected they do now. Thanks!
Thunnex do you have a brother and play on the same hockey team as him? If so are you the one who can score or the one who plays defense?
My brother is a pretty good scorer himself... but I tend to score a little more than he does and he tends to play a little more defense than I do. He'd be offended if I said he couldn't score!
I thought that was you, I used to play on Alex's div 4-5 team as a center a couple years ago.
P.S. Why does your picture show you as a goalie?
I do a little bit of both these days.
