I noticed there were still like two tickets available yesterday for the ShoWare Center opening night game....
The game is now officially sold out according to the ticketing website...
There are however still 3364 tickets remaining for the Sunday game against Kamloops. Personally... I find that pretty disappointing but I think clearly it is going to take some time for the people of Kent to adopt this team and find out about hockey.

Maybe some people from Kent took in the games this weekend.
NO! everybody wants to be there on opening night. the real teat is game # 2. Looks like the City of Kent gave you your answer by the amount of tickets still available for the second game. Sad!

I'm not sure I'm really ready to make any blanket statements based on one Sunday game. Fact is we all knew that it would take some time for the people of Kent to really get on board with this team and with no daily paper, it is going to be tougher than say Everett. I'd say give it a little time before we declare that "Kent" isn't all that excited about hockey.
why wouldn't kent be excited about hockey? there is a Kent Valley Hockey Association for youth Hockey, a huge rink walking distance from the Sho Centre. Kids from the kent area play Junior A hockey in other parts of North America... I do wonder if zamboni John will make it down to the new centre..
