Jim O'Brien was selected to the Team USA Junior team today. This is his first selection to the US Junior National team.

Its awsome for Jim. I did not see much of him last year, but this year he really is as important to the offense as Hickey is important to the defense.I kind of hope not to see him go up too fast.
Even weirder is Team USA has really dipped outside of the college ranks to bring in skaters. Not so long ago, any US born skater in the CHL was pretty much locked not to get invited.
