Attending the Seattle game in Everett last Saturday I wondered aloud about the vicious nature of the hit that Steve Chaffin took and resulted in a concussion.
When I initially saw the hit I thought it was unnecessarily high and to the head, but no penalty was called.
Apparently the league agreed with my version of the event and not that of the officials.

"Everett was without D Graham Potuer, who started serving a two-game suspension. He got hit under supplemental discipline for an unpenalized hit on Seattle D Steve Chaffin on Saturday. Chaffin is out with a concussion."
